Macbook Pro 17" with faulty NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics processor +

This is an advert for a faulty 2008 17" Macbook Pro. Price given above is just to fill the field, but any offers will be considered The mackbook has recently broken down and I decided to replace it instead of repairing it. It can therefore be bought and used for parts or bought and repaired. Having been in to Apple and spoken to their advisors the fault has all the symptoms of a faulty NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics processor (see links below for more info on the fault) and is repairable but has just fallen outside of the extended warranty offered in relation to macs with this fault (ended July 2012).
